Qatar affirms protecting children’s rights

Doha: The State of Qatar underlined that it attaches great importance to promoting and protecting children’s rights, considering it a priority issue in its development plan, which is based on the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the related sectoral strategies.
The State of Qatar indicated that it has adopted an integrated perspective of development that takes into account the basic needs of the child in terms of nutrition, health, education, shelter, and the provision of a safe and healthy environment that works on the child’s development and survival within a framework of integrated protection and care.
