View Comments RICHMOND, Ind. — Six days after a hit-and-run crash, Richmond Police Department posted photos of a suspect vehicle on social media. About 29 hours later, officers made an arrest. Dakota Blue, Egner, 30, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. July 3 in connection with the June 26 crash that injured a teenage bicyclist. She was preliminarily charged with Level 6 felony leaving the scene of an accident that caused serious bodily injury. The teen remains in an intensive care unit, according to an RPD news release announcing Egner's arrest. "The Richmond Police Department would like to thank the citizens and community partners that assisted in giving us valuable information based off our social media post," said the release from Lt. Donnie Benedict, supervisor of RPD's Traffic Safety Division. "They played a major role in helping identify the driver of the vehicle."
