Just a reminder. Many will soon begin to venture out in their yard to see the snow/ice that fell early Monday morning in south Louisiana. I just want to take the time to remind you to proceed with caution while you navigate from your home. If you have to walk across a driveway or sidewalk this morning, chances are it's frozen, so please be careful. We are not accustomed to these conditions in Acadiana, thus this is why I am reminding you to walk slowly or to avoid walking across any frozen surfaces. The last thing you need under this type of conditions is to be taken to a medical facility to treat any injury.
