Princess Gabriella of Monaco, who recently celebrated her sixth birthday alongside her twin, Prince Jacques, has had a police boat in the tiny principality named after her.
The boat “Princesse Gabriella” was baptised on Wednesday at noon with the Princely Family in attendance at the Monaco Yacht Club. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were there for their daughter’s special day, as was Gabriella’s younger twin brother. The Archbishop of Monaco blessed the ship before it was baptised.
Gabriella baptised the ship herself by breaking the bottle of champagne on the ship; however, the bottle was not made of glass but instead of nougatine. The six-year-olds also spent time in the boat’s cockpit.
