Areas around New Mexico have been hit with flooding in recent weeks and most New Mexicans do not have flood insurance.

“It looked like a river in front of my house. the water was way up high,” Harell said.
Luckily, her home was spared, and no damage was done.
“We have wood flooring in my house. good luck trying to afford to replace that,” Harell said.
