To happen, we need Something Like this kind of uh International Breaking the blocade of gaza as a strong signal that this whole thing, this whole israeli policy has to of radically change, and it could happen, and it could happen because the us is leaving the region, so lets hope that the americans are willing to step aside and let peace break out, rather than trying to back the most extreme zionist faction to the hilt and and take the world down in world war ii. Stay with us kevin barrett, were now watching uh more propalestinian uh demonstrations popping up in cities all over the world right now uh in southwestern beirot in lebanon, demonstration is taking place in the mar elios refugee camp in support of palestine, in support of the palestinian cause in support of the Palestinian Resistance and opposing the uh israeli on. Slot on the gaza of strip, but its not just gaza that is uh facing the uh threat of uh israeli attacks and escalation now southern lebanon also were seeing live images as black plums of smoke are rising through the air where the israelis have shelled southern lebanon uh as well uh mr. Barret um im going to come back to the issue of the uh the international and global rallies uh that that were seeing. In various cities across the world, youve addressed that few times for us, but theres also one Vantage Point that we can look at it, and that is how cornered the Israeli Regime is right now, and the narrative that its been pushing through its media propaganda, it seems to be shrinking by the moment. Yes, well thats what happens when you stake your whole message a lie, which is what the zionits have have always done, and and some of them have been. Driaking their own cool aid and and they are fully you they believe their own lies and they even forget which uh israelly leader it was famously said that you our problem is that we believe our own propaganda and so they came out of this thing by basically taking this hamas victory uh and spinning it by trying to focus on alleged war crimes and there indeed there may have been some actions that could be considered war crimes by the hamas forces, but then the zionist went ahead and invented all kinds of ludicrous nonsense stories like these beheadings of babies and things like that, that its it, these days because of the the internet, apologies there, im being told by the control room, were going to have to interrupt you for second, were now joined by our correspondent mariam sall whos joining us from uh southern beirot to bring us up to speed on the images that were seeing right now. Black plums of smoke rising through the air. Mayam, please bring us uh the latest details that you have for us interviewers. Well, we are actually in South Lebanon, we are on the border between of course lebanon, south and uh northern occupied palestine. I dont know if we can uh get some images for you. We are hearing at this moment uh some israeli shelling in several areas. You can see the smoke on. Top of that hill right facing as i think you could probably see it on camera, that is, were not, its not clear whether this is an operation uh from the side of the from lebanon into uh northern uh to the gilili, or whether it is the result of false alarm like what happened yesterday, yesterday uh the israelis had several false alarms and therefore they even uh sounded the sirens several times uh several times and also uh launched several patriot uh rockets missiles so but here what were seeing right now are clear uh images of what seem to be perhaps guided missile. And we also have of course the israeli fighter jets and more planes uh hovering over our heads all day actually today in addition to the surveillance planes now the latest that happened on the other side on the western side of the southern border was that we witnessed the the fact that the israelis launched uh shell sheld actually one of the surveillance towers of the Lebanese Army uh that is the first time that we do have a direct targeting of a Lebanese Army post, um, we all they also said that they suspected that there was infiltration uh from uh resistance fighters in that area, uh, there were also some civilians who actually went to the border area protesting against the israelis and against their of course onslot, the the continuous war against gaza uh, that led to the israelis being very nervous and tense and therefore shelling, uh in that area as well uh they feared that the civilians would launch something, perhaps um certain grenades of a sort and and so on, so basically like we said in the past, the israelis are living a state of tension uh since they are fighting, although they are fighting of course now uh hamas, they are uh launching their attacks, all their rath, as a result of the operation launched by hamass resistance groups, now they have. Are pouring all their wrath on the gaza strip uh clearly uh continuous and daily uh shelling and bombardment of that strip, we know from reports that the israelis have bombarded gaza with an enough bombs that are equal to what the United States bombed afghanistan with for a whole year uh so that in itself shows how the israelis are tense uh but while they are launching that. Or while they are fear and they continue their confrontations with hamas, theyre also eying the situation with hazbullah here on the southern border specifically, the sounds of the bombs uh continue, you can probably hear that, so im sure we will get we will be getting reports soon on exactly what is happening uh, since it is not clear, we cannot quite uh testify what we are seeing are uh missiles or rockets being shalled at one of the israeli pots in the galilei region facing the khiam area. This is considered the um the motuli settlement. This is called the matuli settlement and where you can probably see that it used to be a residential area uh now it is completely evacuated, were talking about over uh 60 of the Northern Area has been evacuated today, also hamas shelled from gaza, its rockets, its precise rockets and reached north of. Of uh occupied palestines they say so the base therefore the Northern Areas some even had suspected that that was probably hezballah that was launching the rockets but no is actually rockets coming in from gaza so if you can imagine if we had that scenario where there were two fronts where hazbil was actually taking part in the war. Hasballs rockets could reach south of uh palestine and hamass rockets could reach north of palestine in addition to the fact that they have Ground Troops that are ready to to enter now politically. Um of course hezballah has not clearly said whether they uh will be coming into the war whether they will be and they they usually dont of course specify their plans beforehand but we do have two significant statements made by first of all the head of the executive council on the first days of the the war where they where he stressed that if the israelis do launch a ground incursion and therefore hezballah would find itself um in a state where it needs to retaliate, it needs to assist, and of course if there are any certain israeli shelling that continues on lebanese territory, then therefore they continue their retaliations, but today also we heard from hezballahs deputy secretary general, of course also stressing that is they are ready, that hazbullah is ready, it is prepared for action against israel when the time comes, of course he did not specify how and where, but he did say that the. They are ready, and another issue was that he sent a clear message to the United States uh, responding to the us President Biden, who had clearly said that any uh party that is uh that wants to take advantage of the situation, of course he was clearly talking about hazballah as saying Sheikh Naim Qassim said that this will not intimidate uh the resistance, this will not intimidate hizbullah, they are ready of course to always launch their um their operations against israel, whether it be to liberate lebanese land uh in southern lebanon, as you know we have the shibba farms that are considered officially by the government of lebanon as occupied land, we also have the. And also the uh the northern part of the village of mari which used to be called the gajar uh village that too was considered lebanise territory and hazballah has trust that they retained the right to liberate that land. In addition to that you also have the fact that what we are looking at right now is a growing Resistance Alliance in the entire region, were not just talking about hezballah as separate entity or or hamas as separate entity or even Islamic Jihad as a separate entity. We saw all the maneuvers inside uh palestine, the fact that Islamic Jihad fought one of the the battles its own, many had said or claimed or suspected that hamas was moving out of the way, they were working more towards negotiations, they did not want any more wars, but it seemed that his that hamas were actually preparing for that significant day on october 7th, 2023, and they said that they knew that the israelis wanted to launch genocide, and so therefore they launched this preemptive. Operation in the uh near the ghaza strip in order to liberate their land and make sure that they have the potential, of course now to be able to release uh some their prisoners. Let me give you a little more information on the speech of hisballs deputy secretary general sayssim, he stress that we in hazbillah are contributing to the confrontation and will contribute to it within our vision and plan, so it seems that hezballah is in a way or another of course. A partner or assisting the resistance inside palestine and perhaps even assisting the the uh Palestinian Resistance groups here in lebanon that are launching either the rocket attacks or the infiltration and those operations that in itself uh is considered significant of course that is uh something that israels always fear uh he said that theyre following up this the enemy steps and we are maintaining full readiness uh when the time comes for action we will do it and that has has kept the israelis basically standing on one foot that caps them really tense or really nervous uh thinking about what might happen since they have said that we are incapable of winning or even fighting it to front war that comes in light of the continuous of course us um support for the israelis uh we heard it from President Biden we heard it from uh the us secretary of state they have always stressed that they are completely behind israel today. Today in lebanon we have also a visit by irans foreign minister, he criticized what he called the us double standards, he said that on one hand, the us gives weapons, it supports israel, it calls on it to continue its onsight on gaza, and on the other hand, they call for selfrestraint uh for all parties, so that is clearly he considered something that is ironic, something that is ridiculous when it comes to political standards, so that we could see now that the us is even ready perhaps not only to give assistance, but perhaps even uh as some experts said that it could, as it is eying hazbullah here in lebanon, it could use the us naval carrier, gerald ford in order to carry out certain targets inside lebanon, that hasballah said they are ready for, but of course hezbol is also very much pragmatic when it comes to dealing with the situation uh, as you know in lebanon we do have some uh opposition to uh the resistance, so there needs to be a sort of pragmatic. Look at what how to deal with this issue, whether there needs to be uh more steps taken by hazbullahs resistance against israel here on the Northern Frontier from south South Lebanon or whether they can assist gaz in another sense, but we do have a promise from hazballah and usually when hezballah does state things, they do implement it, they do carry it out, and they said that if it any time israel does launch a ground incursion, then hezbollah would be ready to assist, but have. Where, when, that is something that is always left as a surprise, we dont know exactly how, were still hearing some shelling sounding in some areas, we do have also some fires, some forest fires and some areas as a result of the phosphorus uh bombs being sent out by uh, being shelled by the israelis in some of the areas in South Lebanon as well, um, but other than that, up until now we have only basically tit for tat operations, and the issue is still maintained somewhat up until this very moment. Mariam, we were seeing some uh, of course, the uh propalestinian demonstrations across the globe, we were just focusing on one that was taking place in the mar, Palestinian Refugee camp in southwest of uh beirout, talk to us about this overwhelming support that weve been seeing for the palestinian cause and for the uh the Palestinian Resistance. Well, its its very. Important that you have all of these, this support whether from the arab world, you are seeing unprecedented protest in jordan, you are seeing of course the mass protest in yemen are something that we are, weve become used to, their support for uh. Sign is unwavering, we have also uh protests all across the arab world and the muslim world, even in the americas, uh, today we will be seeing several protests in chile, in argre, in all of these countries that are clearly uh, you have lot of people in the free parts of the world, people who do get the news of course that they need to get and understand that whats happening right now in gaza is unacceptable when it comes to humanitarian terms, on humanitarian terms, its its its its almost impossible uh we heard from the Iranian Foreign minister stressing that there needs to be exerted efforts, he has a great tour in in the the region to make sure that there are countries that are allowed to bring in food, medicine, water into gaza, since the situation is, is detrimental, its a huge humanitarian crisis, that is on one hand, on other hand is that in lebanon you also have huge number of Palestinian Refugees, those refugees retain that title of being a refugee, lot of them have not moved out of the country, they have not taken another another citizenship, although they might have the potential or the ability to do that, they choose to remain refugees, remain in those dire uh social situation inside those camps in order to say that they have the right to return to their homeland, there is a un security resolution that also stipulates that those refugees have the right to return to their homeland and day by day with all those accords that are being done, whether it were in oslo, in madrid and all of course and the the socalled deal of the century of the time of the us president trump, even now there is no talk of any of the palestinian rights and one of those rights is the return to palestine, so therefore with all of this pressure being put on the on the on those refugees, they are going to do that on their own, and we saw this clearly with the operations that were uh that were taking place whether in South Lebanon from the Islamic Jihad or hamas, they said we are part and parcel. Of our people in palestine, we have the right to liberate our land, and they will probably be working on it, not only from inside palestine, but also from outside of palestine, within lebanon, and i think we will see a larger mobilization when it comes to the movements of the populas in the arab world, uh, even in jordan, which is very much um, succumming if we say very close to the to israels government and to the Us Government uh going by those dictates a daily basis, closing the border and so on, you have lot of pressure from the people against their government in jordan to try to open up the uh the borders in egypt the same, here in lebanon we also have a certain status quo where the where the refugees are not allowed to come to the border directly, but now we have the fact that you most of the labanese uh factions support even Palestinian Resistance, not only the Lebanese Resistance to liberate lebanese land, but also Palestinian Resistance. In many terms in order for the fact for to allow those palestinians to go back to their homelands, the issue of Palestinian Refugees has been a huge, im going to jump in there, we are uh getting live images and continuation of what we were just talking about, the worldwide demonstrations, people in denmark now in the city of uh um arhoose if im reading that correctly are braving uh some uh pretty heavy weather conditions there to take part in the uh propalestinian demonstrations now miam when were looking at Something Like this taking place in various cities despite uh the news that we had earlier of certain European Countries even cities putting bands on propalestinian demonstrations when were looking at uh a place like denmark and propalestinian demonstrations taking place in the manner uh that that were witnessing does this also uh help us better realize that the the. Narrative, the false narrative that these israels have been pushing uh is, its been unsuccessful and that uh the the stature, if if any, if the israelis ever had such such a position in the Global Community is shrinking and shrinking by the day. Well, it definitely is, and in addition to that, when you see the western media, when you see mass uh mass media, Mainstream Media, when you see that you have lot even the United States president himself had to lie about whats happening inside gaza and all those claims against hamas, he had to speak of himself, that means if they need to use lies, if they need to use fabrications, that means that they are losi
