Court documents say that 27-year-old Quamir Mathis will go before District Judge Guy Haberl today for his preliminary hearing on two counts each of felony endangering the welfare of children and misdemeanor simple assault for an incident Indiana Borough Police started to investigate on February 27 th. In December, Indiana Borough Police filed charges Mathis and 28-year-old Amber Bailey, also of Indiana. Police said that two children, both under the age of 4, were beaten with a belt, and Mathis and Bailey left the children alone on multiple occasions.
