By Robert Kennedy Mar 17, 2021 12:58 PM CECIL, WI (WTAQ) – One man has been arrested by the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, on probable cause of child pornography possession. The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office says it arrested Derek Metzenbauer, who is currently being held at the Shawano County Jail. Deputies say they also found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia on him during the arrest. The arrest follows an investigation, which included a search warrant on Metzenbauer’s home and forensic analysis of electronic devices recovered. The probable cause lists 65 counts of possession of child pornography. Metzenbauer is currently a registered sex offender with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry, related to a North Carolina conviction for taking indecent liberties with a child.
