Steve Giannini ran marketing technology company Opal for a decade until stepping down at the beginning of the year. He takes over for co-founder Ray Costantini, who remains on Bright.md’s board. Telehealth took off early in the pandemic as clinics shut down to prevent spread of COVID-19. And though most offices reopened pretty quickly, some patients and medical providers have opted to continue telehealth for many minor or routine visits.
