A joint effort between the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit and the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force resulted in the seizure of drugs, guns and $72,000 in cash on Sunday. While carrying out a search warrant in the 2000 block of Broome Road, agents and deputies discovered more than 15 pounds of methamphetamine with a value of approximately $190,000, according to MCSO spokesperson Sandra Brandon. The bust also discovered 34 firearms, as well as various amounts of marijuana, assorted pills and drug paraphernalia.
