Police investigating sudden death at Christchurch social housing unit

A person has been found dead at a social housing unit in the Christchurch suburb of Sydenham.
Police told Newshub they were called to the Barnett Ave address just before 3pm on Tuesday.
The death is being treated as unexplained.
Detectives are currently at the housing unit,
Stuff reports, and investigators are wearing boiler suits. There are also police standing guard.
