Police: 2 arrested in connection to Spring Grove Village fatal shooting View Comments Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Spring Grove Village, according to Cincinnati police. Christopher Solomon, 18, and a 16-year-old male were apprehended on Tuesday morning following last week's death of Robbie Smythe Jr., according to a release. The Enquirer is not naming the 16-year-old because he is a juvenile. Officers responded to a reported shooting at the 200 block of West Mitchell Avenue around 5:20 a.m. on June 8, police said. Smythe was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment where he died from his injuries, the release states. He was 31 years old.
