Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Seattle-based Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star is back in Alaska.
She arrived in Dutch Harbor Tuesday for what the Coast Guard calls a logistics stop.
The vessel is 30 days into a months-long deployment in the Arctic aimed at protecting the nation's maritime sovereignty and security throughout the polar region.
