PG - Liège-Bastogne-Liège Hands up who misses the race finishing in Ans. No one? Oh, just you Dan. I'm typing this very slowly so I hope you're not reading too quickly. I've had a couple of drinks tonight and LBL is pretty much how I'd currently say the word 'label'. Best not to expect too much below... The Course 4500 metres of gain. That's a lot. We have a new climb. It's before Redoute so I doubt it will be significant but the 1.6k at 8.1% of the Côte de Desnié should be another leg sapper in a race of leg sapping. The 2019 change to the finish with the plateau, the false flat and the small rise after the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons gave us something more akin to most of the big spring classics rather than a Flèche scenario of waiting for the final climb. I'm going to say we'll get the same again this year with a small group fighting for the win.
