University of Pittsburgh students plan to protest an event tonight that they call transphobic. Conservative student group Turning Point USA is hosting a former collegiate swimmer who has spoken out against trans women competing in women’s sports. Pitt has said it supports the students’ free speech rights though it acknowledged that the events are QUOTE toxic and hurtful for many.
