Pinckney finally getting food truck rallies after pandemic delay
The rallies were supposed to debut last year, but the pandemic sidetracked that timeline.
"That didn't kill our spirits," said Michael Szafranski, vice president of the Pinckney Putnam Hamburg Hell Chamber of Commerce.
Szafranski said he is excited to finally launch the rallies this year.
Food Truck Fridays are planned for 1-8 p.m. June 11, July 23 and Aug. 20 at Putnam Township Square on Main Street/M-36. Mill and Livingston streets will close off traffic beginning at 10 a.m. those Fridays.
Szafranski, who is also an agent for State Farm Insurance in Pinckney, said he was looking for ways to promote the Pinckney community and the park.
