TWO schools in Wellington enjoyed a fun day in the snow last week. Headteacher of Sampford Arundel and Stawley Primary Schools, Jaqcui Collier, decided to treat the children to some festive celebrations, after a majority of Christmas events were cancelled. So she hired an industrial snow machine to visit both schools on Friday, December 11. “This year has been so different for our children I really felt I wanted to deliver a memorable experience for them," she said. "In a year when many Christmas events have been cancelled we wanted to give them some safe outdoor fun. "The absolute joy on their faces is a memory I will cherish. One child said 'this is the best Christmas ever', which makes it all worthwhile.
