Mackay musician Tate Obst finished off the Shine Bright evening with his own rendition of a Sticky Fingers classic. Mr Obst said he had only recently begun performing again and appreciated the opportunities events like Shine Bright gave to artists. Other Mackay locals flocked to the hall of the MECC to get their hit of giggles at the comedy festival. Attendees were dressed to impress, with many saying they were just excited to be out and about again after COVID.
