Election officials say Philadelphia residents who were turned away while trying to reconcile issues with their mail-in ballots can still come to City Hall to file replacement ballots or vote provisionally. But they encouraged people to get in line early Tuesday since state law requires that mail-in ballots be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day. The Philadelphia City Commissioners also voted just before polls opened to reinstate a poll book reconciliation method. The vote came despite a judge's order denying a Republican lawsuit's request to keep the process in place.
