The Board recognizes the economic realities faced by our local and provincial governments and acknowledges the impracticality of supporting two libraries in our service area. The Board is committed to working with municipal councils and community partners to maximize efficiency of library operations and still provide quality services to our patrons. To demonstrate this commitment, the Board resolved at their November 19, 2020 meeting to permanently close the Rotary Children’s Library effective December 31, 2020.
