08 Mar 2021 Eldest resident receives first Peninsula vaccination The Peninsula's oldest resident Ms Biddy Abrahams, 104, was its first to receive the Covid-19 vaccine last week. After having been told they would receive the vaccination in the previous week, residents of Peninsula Village in Umina were the first on the Peninsula to have their injections last Tuesday and Wednesday, March 2 and 3, in the Phase 1 rollout to aged care residents. Residents of Blue Wave Living aged care home in Woy Woy, who had also been expecting their vaccinations the previous week, are still waiting. They have not been given a date, but their vaccinations may happen this week.
