According to City SSP Sarfaraz Nawaz Shaikh, Jason Yahoo, 26, worked for a Chinese firm associated with the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board. He visited Lyari reportedly to assess the cleanliness situation and disposal of waste along with two locals in a car. When the vehicle reached the Baghdadi area armed pillion riders intercepted it, opened fire and rode away. All three occupants of the car survived the attack, but the Chinese man suffered minor injuries due to broken windowpanes, the SSP said.
