Pandemic closes Halfmoon town hall FacebookTwitterEmail HALFMOON - Starting Jan. 1, the town will close its building to the public to stave off the spread of the coronavirus. Supervisor Kevin Tollisen said that the closure, currently set for two weeks, is aimed at keeping the staff and public "healthy and safe" and came after seeing an uptick in Saratoga County cases. "Between Dec. 21 and 28, there were about 800 new cases in the county," Tollisen said. "We want to do town business and we've been doing things to have some employees work remoting from home, moving around offices and we have strict protocols in place ... In conversations with the town board, it was clear closing for a couple of weeks was the best thing to do."
