Shootings in the Wilkes and Portsmouth neighborhoods not known to be linked, but police seek a suspect in one case.
Portland Police are searching for the suspect in one early morning shooting, and also reported an injury shooting elsewhere in the city during the early morning hours of Thursday, March 4.
In the first incident, around 4:48 a.m., police say they responded to Northeast 148th Avenue at Halsey Street in the Wilkes neighborhood, where they say a person was wounded and taken to a hospital for treatment.
"Officers canvassed for witnesses and searched the area for evidence. There is no suspect information," according to a news release.
