By Julie Holiday Mar 1, 2021 (Cleveland, OH) - Two horses in Lake county have been rescued by the Humane Society after they were found to be emaciated and starving. The condition of the two freezing horses, Johnny and June was grim, as investigators received a complaint of possible animal neglect. Agents say when the arrived, the two horses were suffering from freezing temperatures and their ribs and hip bones were visible. The Lake county Humane Society is asking for donations from the public to help with the cost to rehabilitate the horses. All donations made towards the two horses will be designated to the Angel fund. One hundred percent of the donations will go to Johnny and June's care.
