View Comments A 39-year-old Oxnard man died after he was stabbed multiple times on Tuesday night, according to the Oxnard Police Department. The victim was reported around 6:15 p.m. in the 5500 block of Cypress Road across from East Clara Street. The location is part of the Cypress Gardens neighborhood on the southeastern edge of the city. Police arrived on the scene of an abandoned agricultural lot to find the victim suffering multiple stab wounds. By the time paramedics arrived on scene, he had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The victim was stabbed with "some kind of edged weapon or sharp object" on the premises, according to Sgt. Edgar Fernandez, of the Oxnard Police Department's Major Crimes Unit.
