Over 6,000 pinged by NHS Covid-19 app in Wiltshire


A notification issued by the NHS coronavirus contact tracing app - informing a person of the need to self-isolate immediately, due to having been in close contact with someone who has coronavirus - is displayed on a mobile phone in London, during the
MORE than 6,000 people in Wiltshire were pinged by Track and Trace in one week, according to official figures.
NHS figures show that 6,614 Wiltshire residents were notified to self-isolate by the Covid app in the week up to July 21, the latest data available.
This is a rise of 23 per cent on the previous week when the same figure was 5,365.
