LOST TO A FIRE – A fire consumed the southeast corner of the village center in December 1902. The Johnson mercantile building and other structures, including the original barn on the Johnson Jolls property, were lost. The Johnson-Jolls house, on South Buffalo Street, is seen on the left. Dr. Willard Burton Jolls pumped water from
