Farmers in many parts of the country have got together to stage vigorous mass protests against the agricultural reforms proposed by the government.
The farmers’ agitation has gained the sympathy of some in India and abroad, in places like the UK, the US, Canada, and Australia.
But what puzzles those who side with the exercised farmers and those who oppose them is that it is hard to understand what exactly it is that they’re worked up about.
