(File) Karimganj / Hailakandi: Officials said on Saturday that a magisterial inquiry has been ordered to determine why a polling party in Assam placed an EVM in the vehicle of the BJP candidate’s wife. Karimganj District Superintendent of Police Ambamuthan MP issued an order on Friday night to probe the incident, which snowballed into a huge controversy between Assam assembly elections, the final phase of which is scheduled for Tuesday. Additional District Magistrate Rajesan Terang has been asked to conduct an inquiry within three days and submit a detailed report.
