I recommend Fall River and the Department of Mental Health consider funding emergency and respite stabilization beds for children and adolescents experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This is especially important during the current health crisis. I am writing to address the importance of preventing crisis through pediatric behavioral health urgent care. Massachusetts Association for Mental Health continues to shed light on limited crisis stabilization bed availability, due to a lack of funding.
