PETALING JAYA: Those who need to travel interstate or inter-district for permitted economic activities do not need police approval but must have an approval letter from the International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) and either a letter from their employer, or their worker’s tag. The ministry's clarification comes at the start of the ban on all interstate and inter-district travel without police approval from May 10 to June 6 in an effort to curb the spread of Covid-19. “For your information, inter-district/state travel for work purposes does not require a letter from the police. “A letter from Miti and an employers' letter OR workers pass (two items) are sufficient.
