The Daily Tribune – www.newsofbahrain.com One restaurant was closed for a week for its failure to comply with the precautionary measures to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19). The Health Ministry’s Public Health Directorate had carried out inspection visits to 99 restaurants and cafes across the kingdom. It was in coordination with the Interior Ministry and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority. Thirteen restaurants were found to have violated the precautionary measures and were referred to the competent authorities. The Ministry indicated that the restaurants had violated the provisions of ministerial edict 51/2020 on the mandatory health guidelines to be put in place in order to limit the spread of the virus.
