On the heels of 'Skittles ban,' California moves to ban food dyes from school meals

Proposed California law would prohibit schools from offering foods with dyes Blue 1 and 2, Green 3, Red 40, Yellow 5 and 6 and titanium dioxide, a white pigment. The FDA considers the additives safe.
