Smith put together the Ruby Mae Bloomer Smith Legacy Fund, in the name of his late mother, in order to help fund progress in this area, and dropped in $20,000 of his own to get started. Now, after working his crazy home renovation magic again, he's donating a portion of the sales of his latest project to the fund. He's turned another little everyday house that had seen better days into a showpiece of urban chic, to raise money to help everyday people have a chance at better days.
