Man suspected of robbery and sexual assault killed after producing firearm during chase.

An Ogden police officer died in a shooting after responding to a domestic violence call May 28, 2020 in the area of Jackson Avenue and Harrop Street shortly after noon. A suspect was killed and an officer with Adult Probation and Parole was injured at the scene.

Two Ogden police officers on Friday night shot and killed a man suspected of robbery and sexual assault, after they chased him through city streets and he “produced a firearm,” according to a news release from Ogden Police Chief Eric Young.
