There were no injuries associated with the fire. Fire crews from Ogden City Fire Department and North Ogden Fire Department responded to a bystander's report of a burning structure at about 3:40 p.m., Ogden Deputy Fire Chief Shelby Willis said. The fire crews worked to prevent the blaze that had spread to the grass from spreading to an apartment complex near the building, Willis said. Crews were able to get the fire under control and began mopping up hot spots at about 4:40 p.m. The estimated 35,000 gallons of water was used on the fire is a concerning amount amid Utah's drought conditions, the release said.
