Cities and towns across Connecticut are preparing to administer COVID-19 vaccinations and officials in Bloomfield, West Hartford and New Haven are holding news conferences on Monday about their plans. On Monday, the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District held a news conference on how the health district is preparing to begin vaccinations for emergency medical personnel and first responders. The clinic received 500 Moderna vaccines last Wednesday and first responders began getting vaccinated on Thursday, officials said. The clinic is continuing to vaccinate first responders today and additional clinics are scheduled for this week and into next week, they added.
