NYPD names Rebecca Weiner as first woman to head intelligence and counterterrorism bureaus

Rebecca Weiner, a Harvard-educated attorney who joined the department in 2006 as a civilian employee in the intel division, will be the first woman to serve in the role on the NYPD's executive team.
