Nurses at Milford Regional Medical Center begin the process to join state union

A group of Milford Regional Medical Center nurses held a press conference before they marched from the Portuguese Club to the hospital administration offices Monday announcing their plan to unionize. Pictured speaking, RN Sara Burton.
MILFORD – Nurses at Milford Regional Medical Center took the first official steps toward unionizing early Monday afternoon.
“A lot of the issues are communication,” ICU nurse Mike Brown said. “We should all have a voice in how we are going to defeat this virus.”
