NSW records NINE new cases after a record testing blitz : co

Gladys Berejiklian warns 'we're not out of the woods' as infections linked to popular CBD pub climb despite NSW recording just nine new cases - including seven on the Northern Beaches
NSW has confirmed only nine new Covid-19 cases overnight as record 60,000 residents tested in the state
Seven of the cases are linked to the Avalon cluster where the Northern Beaches outbreak was first detected
Of new confirmed cases, two remain under investigation - of which one lives in the Northern Beaches area
Despite slowing spread of cases NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian urged state residents to limit their mobility
'Really select the people you need to be there with, and space it out into the New Year,' she said on Thursday
