NPA admits failure to support advocate who resigned after being forced to prosecute Malema

The National Prosecuting Authority in the Eastern Cape has admitted it failed to support Advocate Elna Smit, who resigned earlier this year when the NPA refused to allow her to withdraw from Julius Malema’s rifle trial.
