Police were originally called to a home in the 4200 block of Trout River Boulevard to serve an arrest warrant for a man wanted for probation violation, JSO said.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An hours-long standoff in Northwest Jacksonville ended after the suspect surrendered peacefully to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
At about 6 p.m. the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office arrived at a home in the 4200 block of Trout River Boulevard to serve an arrest warrant, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The male suspect was wanted for a probation violation outside of Florida, JSO said.
