In the ‘Shop Local, Shop Northumberland Campaign’, the county’s retailers have sent out a message to the county’s residents to support their local independent businesses. In a new promotional video bakers, butchers, baristas, and book shops are all showing off their products and encouraging people to shop locally and support independent businesses. According to a recent study from YouGov, almost two thirds of Brits claimed they will try to support local businesses and buy locally going forward.
