Northland big cat sanctuary claws back to better than before

A Northland big cat sanctuary which has been closed to the public for nearly eight years is preparing to roar back into life tomorrow - this time with strict safety measures in place.
Whangārei's Kamo Wildlife Sanctuary is the latest iteration of the park, which has had its own wild ride over the past 20 years.
Once run by Craig Busch - the 'Lion Man' - the park was also the scene of a fatal tiger attack on a keeper.
Other than the cats, the new owners say there's nothing that remains from that time, and they're welcoming the park's newest chapter.
Our cameraman Nick Monro and reporter Nita Blake-Persen paid them a visit.
