Feb 10, 2021 8:24 AM (NOBLE) The Noble Village Board met in regular session this past Monday night. The Board : approved the paying of all bills as presented : after hearing details of an Illinois EPA loan with various requirements included, agreed to not pursue such a loan, and agreed to purchase and install a new wastewater treatment system worth $84,000 from Environmental Dynamics International with no maintenance contact included : discussed buying a new Village mower to replace the current 2001 mower, but no action was taken : approved an agreement with the City of Olney for it to provide the testing of Noble’s waterline on a monthly basis worth $130 per month – this will help the Village develop a log of testing results to implement an Illinois EPA required Freshwater Nitrification Plan by March 1st, 2021 : noted that the railroad line work will soon be done in Noble causing street closings on Illinois Route 250, North First Street, and Second Street around the end of March or first of April : and noted the Noble Village Hall will be closed next Monday, February 15, in observance of President’s Day : the next regular meeting for the Noble Village Board will be February 22, 2021.
