Wilson, N.C. — The J.H. Rose Rampants took down Fike on the road by a score of 40-20. It was a non-conference matchup between the Big East’s Golden Demons and the Eastern Carolina’s Rampants. Rose is the 5th-ranked team in the East by HighSchoolOT.
Rose got off to a rocky start. The Rampants fumbled and threw a tipped interception on two of their first three drives.
The Golden Demons struck gold first. Freshman rusher N’Carrius Woodard found a hole in the Rose defense to score from five yards out midway through the opening quarter.
