Bhagalpur: In a major embarrassment for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in Bihar, Janata Dal (United) MLA Gopal Mandal made a shocking claim that Nitish Kumar will step down as Bihar Chief Minister after six months and Rashtriya Janata Dal (United) leader Tejashwi Yadav will form the next government in the state.
Mandal made the startling statement after an alleged telephonic conversation between Mandal and Bihpur BJP MLA E Shailendra went viral in which it was alleged that Mandal, a lawmaker from Gopalpur, used abusive language and made casteist slur against Shailendra.
