Nine firms bid for construction of Sabarmati Maintenance Depot of Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed rail corridor  New Delhi: Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project progress got another push as nine companies, including infrastructure major KEC International, Patel Infrastructure, and SCC-VRS (JV), have bid to undertake preparatory works for the Sabarmati maintenance depot of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor (package C-8). As per National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), total nine bidders have participated in the process and financial bids will be opened after the evaluation of the technical bids. The project cost is estimated to be around Rs 500 crore.
