Of course, it's useful for keeping a record of your trips about town (in case of an accident) or to record views from your car across an epic road trip. But it also includes support for Alexa voice commands, has a parking mode to roll video while you're away from the car, and, with a subscription, an SOS Emergency mode to call for help. We also like its thoughtful touches such as a polarizing filter to cut through windshield glare. That said, it costs a few dollars more than our Editors' Choice winner for dash cams, the Garmin 66W.
